Projectomschrijving

Lignocellulose is van bijzonder belang als plantaardige grondstof voor de transitie van de tegenwoordig gebruikte fossiele grondstoffen naar duurzaam geteelde grondstoffen voor de productie van biochemicaliën en biomaterialen. In dit project zal de ligninesamenstelling van populieren (Populus ssp.) en Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) worden geoptimaliseerd en het effect op de verwerking van de biomassa worden getest.
