Project description

Toxine gemedieerde infectie van voedselpathogeen Bacillus cereus vereist een direct contact tussen levende B. cereus en zijn gastheer met een in-situ productie van enterotoxinen als gevolg. De cross-talk tussen B. cereus en intestinale cellen zal onderzocht worden aan de hand van functionele, cytotoxische en transcriptomische methoden, mbv. Seahorse flux analyzer, RNA-Seq, microarrays, RT-PCR, ELISA en massaspectrometrie.
