Projectomschrijving

Toll like receptoren worden geactiveerd door interacties tussen TIR domeinen. Homologie modellen worden gebouwd voor TIR domeinen. De MAPPIT methode en in vitro bindingsstudies tussen recombinant TIR domeinen worden gecombineerd met plaatsgerichte mutagenese om interactievlakken tussen TIR domeinen te identificeren. Deze data worden gebruikt als input voor data-gedreven in silico docking. Dit leidt tot experimenteel ondersteunde modelen voor TIR-TIR complexen.
