Projectomschrijving

Humane embryonale stamcellen worden in vitro tot expansie gebracht zonder het gebruik van een dierlijke feeder-laag. Na expansie wordt differentiatie in de osteogene lineage beoogd via specifieke cultuurcondities en selectie van subpopulaties. Eventuele teratomavorming en de mogelijkheid om ectopisch bot te vormen wordt getest in immunodeficiënte muizen.
