Project description
 The proposed research aims to automate the construction progress monitoring of buildings using the   IFC-based BIM and laser-scanned models. To solve the pre-requisite registration task the research proposes several novel registration methods based on the building geometry. To accurately monitor the progress the registered laser scanned-model is then compared with the BIM Model on a very detailed level.
