Bacteriële secretiesystemen zijn essentieel voor bacteriën en de virulentie van pathogene bacteriën. In het kader van dit onderzoeksinitiatief stellen we een interdisciplinair programma voor om de moleculaire basis van type II secretiesystemen uit de twee belangrijkste opportunistische pathogene bacteriën, Pseudomonas aeruginosa en Burkholderia cenocepacia, te optrafelen.
