Project description
Computational and high throughput selection methods will be used to generate stable, soluble tetrameric influenza neuraminidase. In addition, different industrially applicable biological expression systems will be evaluated in order to obtain very high expression levels of the stabilized neuraminidase. This research is important for the future implementation of influenza neuraminidase as an influenza vaccine component.
