The assignment must result in a high-quality, scientifically substantiated proposal for a provisional list, to be drawn up and submitted in accordance with the guidelines included in the request for quotation. The provisional list will be drawn up within the parameters of the Masterpieces Decree. Candidate masterpieces will be assessed against the legal criteria of rarity and indispensability as described in the implementing decree.
