Project description
The overall objective of the Project is to
1. provide insights and knowledge on the influence of food media (defined as all mass communication about food and eating excluding traditional advertising campaigns and/or education and health campaigns) on food consumption in Flanders;
2. establish an independent nutrition knowledge and communication platform where evidence-based information on nutrition and accompanying dietary guidelines can be verified and validated;
3. to set up a business platform (database and learning network) that forms the bridge between companies from the food industry and media companies to jointly set up more effective and efficient communication campaigns about (new) food products.
