Project description

Nowadays, pig blood plasma us used as pig feed supplement to prevent E. coli diarrhea. Inthis project, we investigate whetever glycoproteins, extraced from pig blood plasma, have an inhibitory effect on F4+ E. coli an F18+ E. coli adherence in vitro and in vivo. A new in vitro assay will be developed and implemented in the lab of VEOS nv.
