Abnormaal hoge expressie van Myc (MYC/MYCN) transcriptiefactorgenen wordt aangetroffen in verscheidene tumoren. Geavanceerde experimentele technologieën zullen ingezet worden om genexpressie en gen-DNA-binding in detail te bestuderen. Dit project zou moeten leiden tot een beter begrip van de rol van Myc in normale ontwikkeling en kanker door middel van de identificatie van ontregelde Myc-aangedreven reactiewegen.
