Projectomschrijving

Nieuwe methoden zullen ontwikkeld worden om functies van genen en transcripten te voorspellen. Deze methoden zullen robuust functies transfereren tussen coexpresserende transcripten en zullen orthologen met geconserveerde coexpressiecontext detecteren. Dit laat toe om kwaliteitsvolle voorspellingen te maken voor transcripten, zelfs voor species met weinig gekende experimentele functies of met een verre evolutionaire afstand tot een modelorganisme.
