Een high throughput experimentatieplatform voor (bio)sorptie en (bio)uitloging van metalen zal worden opgezet en geoptimaliseerd. Vervolgens wordt dit platform ingezet om een nieuw hybride sorptie-gebaseerd procese ontwikkelen voor selectieve herwinning van technologie-kritische elementen uit industriële afvalwaters, alsook een nieuw uitlogingsproces om waardevolle metalen selectief te herwinnen uit mijnafval
