Project description

A high throughput experimentation platform for (bio)sorption and (bio)leaching of metals will be set up and optimized. Subsequently, this platform will be used to develop a novel hybrid sorption-based process for selective recovery of technology-critical elements from industrial wastewaters and to develop a novel leaching process in order to selectively recover valuable metals from mine tailings.
