Within the framework of a phamacokinetically oriented project with pre-clinical (the influence of liver pathology on drug metabolism) and a clinical aspects (bio-availability of paediatric formulations), the bio-analytical concentration measurements will be performed using the new UPLC approach (1,7 micrometer column particles resulting in high pressures but enhanced reslution). The introduction of that technique requires an on-purpose developed instrument.
