A petrological-geochemical study of the volcanic deposits of the Aegean arc will provide new insight into the relationship between the composition of arc magmas and geodynamical parameters. The study will use major-an d trace-element and isotopic (Sr, Nd, Pb) analyses on whole rocksm and laser-ablation analyses of trace elements and Sr isotopes in individual minerals.
