Project description

Interleukine-6 (IL-6) is een belangrijke speler in de pathogenese van multipel myeloom (MM). Wij hebben opgemerkt dat verhoging van intracellulaire cAMP-niveaus IL-6 transcriptie in MM cellen afremt. In dit onderzoek zullen we onderzoeken wat de bijdrage van de verschillende cAMP-receptoren (PKA versus epac) in dit effect is en nagaan welke signaaltransductiecascades het doelwit zijn van cAMP.
