Project description
This research-proposal addresses the call for a deeper reservoir of knowledge on public strategic planning effectiveness by investigating the relations between the micro-activities (i.e. practitioners, practices and praxis) of SP in public organizations and both proximate as well as distal planning outcomes (Bryson et al., 2010; Wolf et al., 2013). Shifting research attention towards these micro-activities (i.e. practitioners, practices and praxis) of SP and their relationship with planning outcomes, will shed light on the effectives of SP in public organizations by providing insights into the relationships underlying the presumed impact of SP on performance.
