Projectomschrijving

In dit onderzoeksproject wordt de schilderkunst in een aantal private tombes (Thebaanse necropolis, Luxor, Egypte) daterend van de XVIIIde dynastie onderzocht. Hierbij wordt een visuele analyse gekoppeld aan macrofotografie, scheerlicht opnames en UV-fluorescentie fotografie. Daarnaast worden een aantal archeometrische technieken ingezet om de gebruikte materialen te analyseren (colorimetrie, IR spectroscopie, UV-fluorescentie, X-stralen fluorescentie, Raman spectroscopie).
