Dit multidisciplinair project wil onderzoeken hoe emotieregulatie de psychologische en fysiologische stresshomeostase beïnvloedt en zo een veelbelovende nieuwe hefboom kan betekenen in de preventie en behandeling van obesitas. Doel is huidige obesitas-expertise aan te vullen via complementaire studies: longitudinaal, case-control en een gerandomiseerde trial met focus op emotieregulatie training. De geformuleerde onderzoekshypothesen richten zich zowel op psychologische als fysiologische uitkomstmaten.
