Projectomschrijving

The ecophysiological basic equipment of the laboratory of Plant ecology consists of (1) CO2 en H2O gas exchange systems to measure photosynthesis, respiration and transpiration, (2) devices to measure chlorophyll fluorescence and (3) plant sensors to measure online sap flow, stem diameter variations (diameter fluctuations/growth), internal CO2- transport and cavitation. This equipment is used to strengthen existing research lines (including carbon metabolism) and to further develop new and promising research lines (including cavitation and water transport).
