Project description

This research project wants to understand the role of non-‐state violent actors in shaping governance in Bangladesh. Using a non-normative approach to both political violence and governance and employing both qualitative and quantitative methods, this project wants to contribute to a better understanding of the role of violence in everyday governance and the working of the state in South Asia.
