Personality at work: A dynamic and developmental perspective

With this research, we aim to contribute to the literature that conceptualizes personality at work as a dynamic and developable construct. We are setting up a series of studies in which we:

(1) use experience sampling designs to examine fluctuations in personality within and across work situations,

(2) use longitudinal designs to investigate the long-term development of personality in interaction with specific work characteristics,

(3) use interventions to explore the development potential of traits with the aim of improving professional functioning.
