Salmonella infecties bij varkens kunnen onder invloed van stress terug opflakkeren. Dit is geassocieerd met een onder invloed van cortisol verhoogde proliferatie van de bacterie in de macrofagen. In dit project wordt het onderliggende mechanisme onderzocht.
