Projectomschrijving

In dit project wordt de relatie tussen darm en gewrichtsontsteking bij spondyloartritis onderzocht door cellulaire en moleculaire mechanismen van ontsteking te ontrafelen met focus op biomechanische stress en immuun regulatie. Door modulatie van intestinale microbiota via mini-ecosystemen obv specifieke microbiele cocktails, zullen we onderzoeken hoe we verstoorde immuunregulatoire mechanismen kunnen herstellen.
