Project description
Sinds het eind van de twintigste eeuw ondergaan de moraalpsychologie en de moraalfilosofie een ‘sentimental turn’: de nadruk ligt op emoties als motiverende factoren voor moreel gedrag. Maar wat is de rol van ‘rationele’ cognitieve functies in het tot stand komen van moreel gedrag? Dit onderzoek benadert deze vraag met behulp van inzichten uit evolutiewetenschappen en neurowetenschappen.
