Project description

The project includes the following valorization objectives: - Offering an integrated technology that makes it possible to produce fuels from biomass pyrolysis. - New separation techniques based on enhanced metal organic frameworks (MOFs) to separate selectively valuable components from the produced bio-oil. - New reactor technology, based on vortex technologies for the conversion of biomass to fuels, chemicals and fuels - Methodology for the genetic modification of plants with optimized lignocellulose composition for the intended applications. - Simulation Codes for biomass pyrolysis. - Catalytic materials having optimum catalytic properties for hydrodexygenering of bio-oil, and catalytic pyrolysis.
