Project description

In this research we aim to understand why nematode biodiversity increases in the deep-sea, and for that we will investigate the importance of increased habitat heterogeneity and how nematode biodiversity is related to increased levels of thropic diversity. We are going to use fields, lab and experimental work to try to identity potential variables which influence in the nematode community strucyure.
