Project description
Recent research has emphasized how vegetation plays a fundamental role in influencing the sedimentary processes and deposits of river systems. This project aims to conclusively assess the importance of plants as geomorphic agents, constructing a default conceptual model by identifying commong round in the Phanerozoic sedimentary record of uniquely non-vegetated rivers (from pre-land plant evolution, post-extinction, and glacio-fluvial settings).
