Dit project behandelt fundamenteel onderzoek naar de technologie nodig voor een automatisch detectiesysteem voor epileptische aanvallen dat gebruik maakt van flexibele en uitrekbare substraten met allerlei sensoren, van verwerking van EEG-signalen en andere meetgegevens en van de neurale netwerktechniek "Reservoir Computing". Dit alles leidt tot een snel detectiesysteem op maat van de individuele patiënt, ook bruikbaar in een thuisomgeving.
