Projectomschrijving
Dit project onderzoekt de impact van langduring conflict op lokaal bestuur in twee casussen: de Naga seccesionistische rebellie (Noordoost India) en de Maoïstische Naxalieten (centraal India). Het doel is om een politieke etnografie van bestuur in 'opstandige' samenlevingen te presenteren, door veldwerk te verrichten in gebieden waar zowel de staat als de rebellen overheidsfuncties trachten uit te bouwen.
