New iron-catalyzed C-N coupling reactions will be studied and developed. A great interest exists in iron as a homogenous catalyst in organic chemistry because of its low cost and low toxicity. The utility of iron complexes for N- (hetero)arylation and N-alkynylation of N-containing compounds will be evaluated.
