A sustainable way is proposed for chicken manure management through leaching, managed by efficient anaerobic digestion technologies (high-rate anaerobic reactors) to obtain clean energy and biofertilizers. The treatment of this waste would have a positive impact on the development of Cuban rural communities, creating profits, and jobs and improving the environmental profile of the poultry process.
