Project description
EMbaRC beoogt - via netwerking, training en onderzoek - de verbetering, coördinatie en validatie van de werledwijde verdeling van goed gedocumenteeerde, authentieke micro-organismen door 'Microbial Resource Centres' (MRCs) aan onderzoekers uit academische en industriële kringen. EMbaRC beoogt eveneens de ontwikkeling van 'business' modellen om de zelf-duurzaamheid van MRCs te verhogen. Het wordt het Europese knooppunt van het OESO-initiatief 'Global Biological Resource Centre Network' (GBRCN)
