Project description

EMbaRC aims - by networking, training and research - to improve, coordinate and validate the delivery by microbial resource centres (MRCs) of well-documented, authentic micro-organisms to researchers from public and private sectors worldwide. EMbaRC also aims to develop business models to increase self-sustainability of MRCs. It creates the European node of the OECD envisaged Global Biological Resource Centre Network (GBRCN).
