The ultimate goal is to achieve significant methane reduction in dairy cattle. The main short-term goal is to  deliver concrete feeding instructions to dairy farms for raw materials such as rapeseed meal and beer marc for which already measured in vivo methane reduction. In addition, the project offers medium- and long-term potential on new feed ingredients to create sufficient supply and for this purpose raw materials will be screened in vitro for their methane reducing potential.
