Projectomschrijving

Het project heeft als doel om het binnenoppervlak van nanoporeuze materialen te modificeren d.m.v. atomaire laag depositie (ALD). ALD is een zelf-gelimiteerde groeitechniek die gekarakteriseerd wordt door de blootstelling van het specimen aan opeenvolgende pulsen van precursorgassen, wat resulteert in de sequentiële groei van (sub)monolagen. Het is onze bedoeling om ALD te gebruiken om katalytische centra in poreuze materialen te introduceren en/of de poriegrootte te modificeren.
