Project description
An applied risk-based methodology is developed for defining the societally optimum level of investment in structural fire safety for unique building projects. Special emphasis is placed on the definition of tolerability limits and the simultaneous consideration of multiple fire safety objectives.
Advanced regression techniques are applied to couple structural fire performance calculations with fire spread and cost evaluations.
