The overall objective of this proposal includes post-expression modifications of Alpha bodies with some interesting entities, in order to provide alternative methods to those used in various projects within Complix. The general objectives of the conjugation-based projects presented here include the promotion of cell penetration, cell-specific targeting and prolonging half-lives. Furthermore, it is intended to demonstrate conjugation of Alpha Body-forming peptides to templates, as well as conjugation of Alpha bodies of different nucleic acid analogs, for potential applications in nuclear binding.
