SMEthane biedt een technologisch platform aan voor KMO's om verdere kennis te ontwikkelen en voortgang te induceren voor het succesvolle gebruik van toevoegingsmiddelen in diervoeding die de uitstoot van methaan door herkauwers verminderen. Het SMEthane consortium combineert de mogelijkheden van vijf grote onderzoeks-en onderwijsinstellingen uit 4 Europese landen en zes KMO's met een lange ervaring in het ontwikkelen nutritionele toevoegingsmiddelen
