Project description

Consumers often make time-inconsistent choices in which they choose for short-term options instead of more long-term options. This project assumes that consumers are more likely to make time-inconsistent choices when these choices are easy to justify. We focus on purchase situations that often occur in real life and investigate (1) simultaneous versus sequential choices and (2) sequential versus isolated choices.
