Projectomschrijving
De ontwikkeling en homeostase van het cardiovasculair stelsel wordt bestudeerd adhv. 3 deelprojecten:
1) Creatie en pathogenetische studie van gulo en slc2a10 dubbel knockout muizen en slc2a10 knockout zebravissen als model voor het arterieel tortuositeitsyndroom.
2) Exoomsequenering voor zeldzame elastinopathieën zonder gekend gendefect.
3) Evaluatie van de bijdrage van somatisch mozaicisme en de novo mutaties bij congenitale hartafwijkingen via exoomanalyse.
