Dit interdisciplinair onderzoek beoogt de processen en producten van fysieke ruimte-productie van Afrikaanse diaspora in de middelgrote stad in België op een kritische en gelaagde manier in kaart te brengen. De resultaten van het onderzoek zullen ons essentiële kennis verschaffen over (1) de architectuur van alledaaagse ruimtes van Afrikaanse migratie, (2) de transnationale uitwisseling van strategieën van ruimte-productie, en (3) alternatieve vormen van stadsvernieuwing.
