The aim of the project is to inventory the biodiversity of indigenous phytoseiid predatory mites in Vietnam and to perform a first screening of their potential as biological control agents of thrips and mite pests. This will be based on molecular gut content analysis of predatory mites collected in the field in Vietnam and laboratory predation experiments.
