Project description

Het gebruik van modellen gebaseerd op cellulaire automaten (CA), die discreet zijn in het tijds-, ruimte- en toestandsdomein, werd onderzocht voor de beschrijving van (a)biologische processen. Tijdsreeksen van ruimtelijke data zullen bekomen worden via representatieve basisexperimenten. Deze data zullen gebruikt worden om CA-gebaseerde modellen te fitten en gedurende dit proces hopelijk een aantal belangrijke vragen omtrent deze modellen beantwoord worden.
