Project description

the major aim of the project is to come up with a better scientific understanding of VOC emissions from biological systems when they are exposured to stress factors. SIFT-MS will be developed towards the target compounds. Proper validation with established GC-MS techniques is necessary. Especially the convenience of the method in researching relationships between exposure/stress factors and VOC emission patterns is targeted for specific biological systems (food products, biological waste gas treatement systems).
