Projectomschrijving

Conventionele satellietcommunicatie is SISO (single-input single-output), zowel de zender als ontvanger gebruiken één antenne. MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) technieken worden reeds toegepast op terrestriële draadloze digitale communicatie met een significante verbetering van de performantie als gevolg. Het doel van dit onderzoek is het onderzoeken en ontwikkelen van MIMO technieken voor communicatie over de niet-lineaire satellietkanalen om gelijkaardige verbeteringen na te streven.
