Project description

The emergence of new psychoactive substances is a major threat to public health. This project aims at setting up bio-assays for the dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin transporters, the target of many stimulants and psychedelics. To investigate their pharmacology and toxicity, new luminescence-based bio-assays will be set up, based on the intra- or intermolecular functional complementation of a split nanoluciferase.
