Project description
Several recent papers have raised the issue of the poor performance of risk preferences measured in experiments and surveys. I aim to present a different view on these issues, while taking the challenges seriously. In particular, I posit that most of the apparent contradictions highlighted in the recent literature can be organized by a systematic theory of measurement
error.
