The goal of this project is to study realistic magnetic structures by scaling atomic resolution spin-lattice simulations to systems of hundreds of nanometers large. By doing so, many approximations of the widely used continuum-based micromagnetic framework disappear, making the theory applicable to a wider range of problems. In particular, it will allow us to study temperature effects, antiferromagnetism and singularity-mediated processes in nano-scaled magnetic systems.
